Home & Retirement Home Visits
Bringing Joy, Comfort, and Connection
Each week — and whenever requested — Rabbi Moshe and Sheina Caytak, along with dedicated volunteers, visit homebound individuals and residents in Ottawa’s retirement homes. These visits offer warmth, companionship, and a deep sense of connection — often sparking cherished memories and uplifting spirits.
For many, prolonged isolation can be a difficult and emotional experience. Everyday comforts may become rare, and it’s not uncommon for individuals to reflect on life’s deeper meaning. In these moments, Chabad provides compassionate presence, spiritual support, and a reminder that no one is alone.
Our team brings:
-
Challah or flowers before Shabbat.
-
Friendly conversation and emotional support.
-
Holiday cheer and meaningful traditions.
-
Hope, dignity, and a personal touch.
If you know someone who would benefit from a visit, please don't hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help.
